Candidates who have completed B.Sc in any stream of Science such as Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physiology, Microbiology or an equivalent degree in a Science stream from a recognized board are eligible for M.Sc Microbiology. Thanks.

Eligibility:
Bachelor's degree in Microbiology / Biotechnology/ Botany/ Biochemistry/B.Sc , MLT/ Zoology/ or in any other branch of Life Sciences with minimum 55% marks. Yes, selection is done on the basis of Entrance Examination conducted by the university. For more details information you can see below link:

Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate should have passed B.Sc Degree in Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry or Physics with not less than 50% Marks in Part III of the respective subjects.
Admission Process:
The selection to the M.Sc Programmes will be based on the marks in B.Sc. Examination, Entrance test and the Interview.

No, JNTU don't have distance M.Sc microbiology. It offer full time 2 year course.

Admission is done on the basis of marks secured in the entrance examination conducted by the authority and/or personal interview.
Eligibility:
Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in appropriate branch or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
