Entomology subjects include Insect Morphology, Insect Anatomy, Physiology and Nutrition, Insect Ecology, Principles of Taxonomy, Insect Pathology, General Acarology, Storage Entomology, Plant Quarantine, Vertebrate Pest Management, Soil Arthropods and their Management etc. Students who hold a B.Sc. Degree or any other equivalent qualification in a relevant subject with a minimum score of 60% from any recognised university are eligible for this course. Some well-reputed universities and colleges conduct entrance examinations too for admission to this course. There are a number of public and private institutes which offer M.Sc. Entomology.
