Actually, admission through IIT JAM exam is through merit rank in the exam not through marks score. Rank is decided on the basis of mark gained. Your score is very less, probably rank will be around three thousand. With that much of score you will not be eligible to take admission into any college. Try next year with more hard work.

Following is the eligibility criteria-
Chemistry for three years/six semesters
or
Candidates having a Bachelors degree without (Major/Honours) must have the concerned degree with (a) Chemistry as a subject for three years/six semesters, (b) Minimum 2 (Two) courses in Mathematics (c) Minimum 2 (Two) courses in Physics
or
In B.Sc. /BS, at least six Chemistry subjects for three years/six semesters. According to eligibility released by IIT JAM in year 2022, all that you need is to have passed the Bachelor's degree programme. Two years gap won't effect. In fact, there are many students who takes more than two years break for IIT JAM preparation. So, yes, you can apply for IIT JAM examination, just prepare well.

Here are the steps that you should follow, I have followed these steps-
Step 1- Know the IIT JAM syllabus thoroughly.
Step 2- Understand the IIT JAM exam pattern and marking scheme.
Step 3- Get the best books to study for IIT JAM and other study material.
Step 4- Make a monthly time-table, a weekly time-table, and a daily time-table.
Step 5- Solve past years question papers, sample papers, and mock tests.

You need to give TUEE and institute's own entrance exam. JAM exam is not enough. Some of the institutes are-

Yes, Like most the government university, an entrance test is needed/mandatory to get admission into the Master's in Physics Programme colleges under the University of Kerala. The entrance exam is the only option needed to take admission. There is no other way. See and Check the important dates of the entrance exam.

Hello! Tanvi, No, it is not possible to pursue M.Sc. IT course after completion of your 12th standard with Commerce stream. To be eligible to pursue M.Sc. IT course, you should have passed Bachelor's degree in IT or related stream from a Government recognised university. You can do M.Sc. IT (5 years course) if you pass 12th with Science.
