Hi,
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum 60% aggregate marks in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and/or Mathematics subjects in 10+2 examination with minimum pass marks in individual subjects and pass mark in English.
Candidates are selected based on marks obtained in Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE).

Candidates are capable to work in the employment areas like Hospitals in Pathology, cytology Lab, Food Industries, Beverages Industry, etc. Also there are different career opportunities job types like Lecturer, professor, lab technician, manager, etc.
There are also way for higher studies like M.Phil and Ph.D in same field that may help them to exceed in the career and the same field.

Candidate must be a graduate in relevant stream from a recognized university.
Selection is done on the basis of merit and entrance examination score on ratio of 50:50 for students of SPPU.

Yes, M.Sc applied psychology is different from MSc counseling psychology. After completing Counseling psychology, a person can get opportunities in counseling clinic only. After completing applied psychology, the person has many opportunities like, Clinical psychology, Sports psychology, Industrial/Organizational psychology and forensic psychology. The practical application include treating patients, in extreme cases prescription too; research on the psychological approach to human and animal behavior.
