Space technology is no longer reserved for national and international space agencies and big companies. It is gradually becoming a field of increasing interest to a wide range of private industries, including small and medium-sized companies. There is a high demand for candidates with strong skills and qualifications within space technology. These skills and qualifications are also required in many high technology companies.
Space technology education deals with the design, development and application of space Science and technology for application in national and regional development and environment management. Technologies such as weather forecasting, remote sensing, GPS systems, satellite television, and some long distance communications systems are also dependent on space infrastructure. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) was instituted to play a meaningful role in harnessing space technology. The Indian Space programme also focuses on developing capability to build and launch communication satellites for television broadcast, telecommunications and meteorological applications; remote sensing satellites for management of natural resources.

Completing your B.Tech in ECE will make you eligible to apply for this course .You need to have excellent GATE scores to secure a seat in this stream in a reputed institution.
