BITS Pilani does not provide BE(Hons)+ ME integrated course. But it has a programme of transfer where bright and promising students of the BE (honors) can seek transfer to a higher degree (ME) and/or Ph.D degree.

Dear Arshdeep,
Yes, it's a good choice to do MS i.e. M.Tech from abroad. Germany is considered for mechatronics and mechanical engineering so I would suggest you to do it from Germany universities.

BITS, Pilani is the best university for M.Tech in civil engineering. It has top class students with top class teachers. This college conducts separate entrances for M.Tech.

Hi,
There are two main methods of entry into the faculty of engineering:
Direct entry (from high school or equivalent) to the preliminary year program, transfer student (from direct entry, U1, other faculties, other institutions) to preliminary year program one of 5 degree programs.

No, your B.Tech percentage is good but for M.Tech, you have to score well in the GATE exam in order to get a good college and better future.

Hello Akshit,
In India, almost all the private colleges offer both B.Tech and M.Tech courses. At the time of admission, they mention your name in the list of M.Tech students as you have to tell the college that I want to do both these courses.

The eligibility criteria for MS differ in different universities. General eligibility criteria to study it in German University is as follows:
(a) High academics performance or records in undergraduate studies.
(b) If the course is taught in German, then proof of proficiency in the German Language. If the course is taught in English, then proof of proficiency in English by TOEFL or IELTS score.

If you want to improve your technical knowledge - go for M.Tech. If you can manage an MBA from one of the top 10 management schools - go for MBA. The later will have a better scope.
