IIT Madras average package is yet to be released. However, the median package is out for the years 2022 and 2023 for IIT Madras M.Tech course. Check the following table for IIT Madras placement package comparison for 2022 and 2023:

Currently, there are two deemed to be universities under the overall umbrella of MIT located at two different places in Pune, Maharashtra. One is called "MIT ADT" meaning MIT Art, Design and Technology University. It's located at erstwhile property of famous Hindi film personality Raj Kapoor! It offers three types of PG courses. Normal M.Tech of two years duration. Fees for this is INR 295000. The second one is M.Tech by research. This is of three years duration and the fee is INR 303000. The third is an MSc of two years duration with fees of INR 235000

Candidates must complete bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Science or AMIE in the appropriate branch to apply for M.Tech at New Horizon College. Admission to MTech is based on GATE or PGCET scores of the candidates.

NIT Meghalaya accepts GATE score for admission to the M.Tech courses. As per the NIT Meghalaya M.Tech cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank for M.Tech ranged between 356 and 424, among which CSE was the most competitive specialisation. For a few of the M.Tech sepcialisations, the cutoff stands closed after Round 1, 2 and 3. As per the last year cutoff data, the minimum GATE cutoff for NIT Meghalaya was 356 for M.Tech in CSE.

Maritime foundation is a private university, affiliated to Indian Maritime University (IMU) Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Maritime Foundation is approved by the all India council of technical education. The establishment year of this is year 2000. The fee structure of maritime foundation varies from course to course and it depends on the type of the course and the duration time of the course such as for Diploma after 12th fee is about 2.5 Lacs (total) and for M.Tech fee structure ranges from 3.5 Lacs o 4 Lacs total.

Yes, it is possible to pursue an M.Tech in Computer Science after completing a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. There is no restriction on specializations after you are graduate as a mechanical engineer.
