NIT Meghalaya Admission 2024 to M.Tech programme is entirely based on GATE exam. Candidates have to qualify the GATE cutoff which is based on certain factors like total number of available seats, the number of candidates appeared in the exam, marks obtained by the candidates. GATE 2025 registration for MTech admission to NIT Meghalaya has started. Candidates can also fill out the application form online. The GATE 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on Feb 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. Candidates can check the detailed notification on the GATE 2025 official website and also on the GATE Shiksha page.

NIT Meghalaya is an Engineering college in northeast India. The college is ranked favorably by various bodies, including NIRF. Further, the placements season attracted several popular recruiters. The highest package reached 32 LPA.

The total tuition fee for the MTech programme at NIT Meghalaya is INR 69,500- INR 3.8 lakh, The fee structure mentioned doesn't include hostel fee. Further, the fee structure is for general category. Total fee is calculated based on annual/ semester fee available for the academic year, hence is indicative. 

For admission to MTech course in NIT Meghalaya candidates have to appear for the GATE exam. GATE 2024 registration for M.Tech admission has started .Candidates can also fill GATE application form 2024 online at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. GATE 2024 exam will be conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11,    2024. IISc Bangalore has released the detailed GATE 2024 information brochure. A new paper on GATE 2024 Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA) has been added. 

According to ICT Mumbai Engineering NIRF report 2022, a rise of 13% was witnessed in the M.Tech placement rate in 2021 as compared with 2020. The placement rate recorded during ICT Mumbai M.Tech placements 2021 was 63%. Earlier, the placement rate recorded during ICT Mumbai M.Tech placements 2020 and 2019 was 50% and 56%, respectively.

COEP offers a two-year M.Tech course across 20 specialisations. These are Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Structural Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automotive Technology, Project Management, Construction Management, Design Engineering, Mechatronics, etc. All of these courses are taught through several department at COEP.
