M.Tech

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram accepts the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)  score for admission to the IIITDM Kancheepuram M.Tech course. The final selection is based on the CCMT (Centralized Counselling) an online admission and counselling process for admissions to the M.Tech course. The institute also conducts a written test for non-GATE qualified candidates.

The candidates with a valid BTech degree in ECE/CS/IT/EE or related disciplines, MCA, or an MSc/MS in ECE/CS/IT/EE or related disciplines with at least 60% aggregate are eligible to take admission. In addition, there is no age limit. Eligible students can further fill out the application form and take the admission test. The total tuition fee for the course is INR 3.6 lakh. A hostel fee of INR 1.52 Lacs and a one-time payment of INR 3,620 is also added in the total course fee with other fee components. As per the official brochure, a registration fee of INR 10,000 per semester also has to be paid to keep the enrolment active. Further, this given fee is as per unofficial sources and is indicative.

The total seat intake for IIIT Kalyani Executive MTech programmes is 60. The seat intake for each of the specialisations is 30. This seat intake is further as per the information brochures available on the IIIT Kalyani official website. Moreover, IIIT Kalyani reserves the right to revise seat intake. The seat count mentioned here is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is however, subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

IIIT Kalyani offers an Executive MTech course, which is specifically designed for working professionals. The PG-level course is available in two specialisations, including Artificial Intelligence & Data Science and Advanced Communication Systems & Signal Processing

Candidates who have completed a master's degree with at least 60% aggregate are eligible to apply for the M.Tech course.

Admission to M.Tech course is based on GATE score followed by CCMT/ COAP Counselling.

Candidates can take admission to M.Tech at NIT Mizoram through a common counselling named CCMT after qualifying for the GATE exam. In case the seats remain vacant even after the CCMT Counselling is over, non-GATE candidates are then offered admission on the basis of the institute-level admission process.
