Those seeking admission to the M.Tech programme at IIIT Una must meet the below given requirements:
- Passed BTech in relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale.
- Valid GATE scores based on which they will be selected for further admission process. Those having GATE score/ rank above the closing rank can apply for the counselling process through CCMT.
- Selected candidates will be required to report to the admission cell at IIIT Una for document verification and fee payment.

No, there are no age restrictions for admission to the M.Tech programme at IIIT Kota. Candidates must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria as released by the institute for admission which is that candidates must have at least completed their Class 10, Class 12 and a 3-year UG degree. However, those who are in the last year of their UG degree can apply for GATE exam which is the minimum criteria for admission to this college and course.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE is an online national-level examination conducted for Master of Engineering (ME), Masters in Technology (MTech). To get into M.Tech programme in IIIT Kota candidates have to appear for the GATE exam. The GATE 2026 exam dates was February 7, 8, 14 and 15.
