Candidates must pass BE/ BTech in relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate to apply for VIT Chennai M.Tech programme. Hence, aspirants with 60% in BTech can apply for admission to M.Tech programme. Besides, meeting the aggregate requirements, candidates must also pass VITMEE conducted by the institute.

Candidates need to pass VITMEE for admission to VIT Chennai M.Tech programme. VITMEE is a two hour multiple-choice test. The computer based test consists of 100 questions with a maximum of 100 marks. Aspirants who score well in VITMEE need to further participate in online counselling and seat allotment process. Aspirants must also pass Class 10, Class 12/ Diploma and UG degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate for admission.

UNIRAJ has not yet released the placement rate for M.Tech courses specifically. However, the NIRF report 2023 contains information about PG two-year placements at the University of Rajasthan.
