This depends on your interest and learning potential. The syllabus that is tough for you might be very easy to grasp for your friend, who finds it interesting and intriguing. Ensure to meet the minimum eligibility requirements set by the academic institutions that usually ask you to have a B.E/BTech degree in Civil Engineering or a related field with a minimum score of 55%.

Anybody who has completed a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 55% marks in graduation from a recognised academic institution can go ahead and apply for the M.Tech Civil Engineering course at several reputed colleges and universities across the country.
