Yes,  K J Somaiya Institute of Technology offers Scholarships for its students. The scholarships are as follows:

Scholarship 1: Amartya Shiksha Yojana Policy

Scholarship 2: Students of all years who belong to the reserved category, the Weaker section, receive scholarships from the competent Authority.

Admissions to the M.Tech programme at KJ Somaiya Institute of Technology are based on the entrance exam score of candidates. Hence, direct admissions are not offered by this college. The eligibility criteria for the M.Tech course at K J Somaiya College of Engineering is that candidate should have passed graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

However, direct admission might be applicable for the sponsored candidates. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of fulltime work experience in a registered firm/ company/industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought. 

KJ Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology offers two years of postgraduate-level M.Tech courses. KJ Somaiya Institute of Technology MTech is a two-year course offered only in Artificial Intelligence. The postgraduate-level course is spread across four semesters and offers advanced knowledge in AI. To secure admission to the M.Tech course candidates must have valid qualifications which are as follows:

• BTech in Computer Engineering / Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Electrical Engineering, with 50% aggregate (45% minimum in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only).
• For sponsored candidates, a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm/ company/industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought. 

Yes, GATE is compulsory for MTech course at KJ Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology. As per the admission guidelines, admission to the M.Tech course is subject to a valid score in the GATE exam. Candidates must secure a non zero positive score in Graduates Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology. Further, candidates must also have a valid qualification, i.e., BTech in Computer Engineering / Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Electrical Engineering, with 50% aggregate (45% minimum in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only).
