Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University offers admission to BTech + MTech courses througfh JEE Main scores followed by the Counselling. GGSIPU BTech+MTech cutoff 2022 for Chemical Engineering stood at 85,744 for the General category candidates in All India quota. Whereas, for female candidates in general category under All India quota stood closed. Further, GGSIPU BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/ quota of the applicant.

The cutoff trend for BTech at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has been a decreasing one in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under general category for all India quota was 90,378. In 2022, it decreased to 85 744. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 90,378 to 81,426 for OBC, 19,0098 to 2,24,720 for SC, 6,62,196 to 3,90,021 for ST, 10,2,979 to 1,01,883 for EWS categories.

Yes, while applying for the MTech programme at IIT Jammu, a student has to first register compulsorily on COAP portal. It is also mandatory for all candidates with valid GATE score to register at COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal) and use the COAP registration number while filling the application form of IIT Jammu. The application fee for M.Tech registration at IIT Jammu portal is INR 200 for SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates and INR 300 for other category candidates.

No, students seeking admission to IIT Jammu for MTech are required to have a valid score in the GATE exam. Other than this, the institute also conducts a written test and interview for further selection as per the official brochure. To add, students are also required to have passed their BTech degree in relevant branch. This information is as per details released by the institute for admission to its MTech course. However, for any other information around direct admission, candidates are advised to reach out to the admission office of the college for details.

IIT Jammu offers a two-yearM.Techprogramme across six specialisations. Admission to this course is based on a GATE score followed by COAP counselling. Eligible students seeking admission must qualify for the entrance exam for admission to IIT Jammu. As mentioned, candidates who wish to apply to theM.Techprogramme must have a valid GATE score. However, candidates are screened based on their CGPI in BE/BTech and GATE score and then the shortlisted ones are further called for a written test and interview for final seat allotment process.

For last year, the closing rank for Integrated BTech +M.Tech in Computer Science was 30789 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in UoH.

The Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category under All India, opening rank was 20147 and closing rank was 30789. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to Integrated BTech +M.Techin Computer Science in UoH - University of Hyderabad is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

The cutoff trend for BTech + MTech in IT at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has been increasing in recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for BTech in the general category for all India quota was 27983. In 2023, it increased to 12. Likewise, the cut-off ranks have changed from 126986 to 59555 for SC, 279159 to 220200 for ST, 34415 to 26188 for EWS, 743502 to 479034 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. A similar cut-off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.
