Yes distance education in M.Tech is available in India. You can do this in various discipline like computer engineering, civil engineering, ECE. Several institute that offers distant education for M.Tech are :
Karnataka Open University
Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology
Amity University.

Candidates who pursued master's degree can apply for the National Eligibility Exam. The aspirants who pursued their post graduation in the engineering field can apply for CSIR NET Exam.
As per the eligibility criteria of CSIR UGC NET Exam, candidates who have secured at least 55% aggregate marks are eligible to apply for it. There is no age limit for those who want to apply for CSIR NET Assistant Professor. For JRF, the maximum age limit is 28 years. I hope it helps.

Hi,
The fees for a regular seat is Rs 5.24 lakh per annum, the fees for a management quota seat is Rs 13.91 lakh. In 2019-20, they will be between Rs 13.5 lakh to Rs 16 lakh; and for 2020-21, they will be Rs 14.82 lakh to Rs 18.4 lakh.

RV College of Engineering for M.Tech in mechanical engineering's Fee Structure is INR. 3,80,800, or it may ranges from INR. 2, 50,000 to INR. 4,00,000.

It will depend on different specialisation. It is nearly 1, 33,800, or it may ranges from 90,000 to 1, 40,000 not more than that.

Hi friend, Fees for M.Tech in inter. Is very nominal as well as feasible hopefully. It ranges from (Rs. 40,000/- Per semester) to (Rs. 80,000/- (Per semester). Hope this information will help u.

Actually, when you go for M.Tech almost all the courses are related to computer. So, you should have basic knowledge about it. It doesn't mean ECM branch will be useless. Some courses require the knowledge of both CS and ECM.
