Hello Pratibha, You have already done your graduation and even post graduation in ECE but as you are employed in PWD you are desirous of acquiring qualification of civil engineering. Right? You have a choice of doing your B.Tech or BE in the new branch from distance course but it would be better in my view to go for AMIE in civil engineering. Best wishes to you.

I will suggest you to go for a proper full-time course in M.Tech, if you are genuinely interested in it, as only getting a degree will not help you, as you know that it is really difficult to get a good job nowadays. And, for part-time you will have to contact the colleges, as I think most of the colleges nowadays are not giving courses for part-time.

Basically, you need to write entrance exam of any private college. So, do well there and get admission without GATE.

Hello,
Paper will not be that much difficult, if you have good skills in quantitative aptitude, reasoning logical, English and computer question based on what you learned in B.Tech. So, if you don't have good practice in general level aptitude, then keep learning basic concept up to 10th standard of mathematics, then you will definitely crack the exam. If possible, refer some previous year papers so you will get an idea.
