Hello Tom Jose, What you are thinking was perhaps possible a few months back but since then situation has changed. UGC has declared once again that no university can offer any professional course in the distance education mode. With this diktat from UGC no University will be able to offer M.Tech programs via distance mode. I think you will have to think something different if you want to gain knowledge. Best wishes.

Hello R Rahul, Getting a degree via distance education in engineering branch as well as the post graduation degree was possible some years back in India. However recently UGC has announced once again that no distance learning university can offer any professional courses including engineering for studies. Hence, I am afraid your dream of doing M.Tech by the distance or open learning is at least not feasible presently.

The placement of B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Biotechnology at KIIT, is very much fine but not too good. Faculties are very helping, positive and decent. They are experienced and yes knowledgeable too.

Hello,
It is nice to hear from you that after 2 years of work experience you are now interested in doing your post-graduation in one of the subjects related to electrical engineering. It is great indeed to think on these lines. There are plenty of specializations available for basic graduates of electrical engineering. However at this stage I would like to advise you that you must do post-graduation in the subject that is at your heart or of which you are very passionate. This is irrespective of what you are doing at the moment. Renewable energy, power electronics. There are plenty of such subjects. I am attaching a link that will give

I am afraid, I could not find this course in the webpage of the university and also from other sources. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about different branches / specializations offered at the level of M Tech in this university.

Hello K Karthik,
I am afraid that if you have an arrear in BE then perhaps you cannot apply for ME. What I mean to say is that if you have not cleared all the subjects of all the semesters while doing your graduation in engineering then you cannot apply for ME. However, if during the course of your graduation if you had arrears and then you had cleared them subsequently and at the moment you have your BE degree with you then definitely you can apply for ME.
