Hello Vraj Patel,
It is very nice to hear from you that you intend to become a manager in forest and mining areas and because of this aim in life, you want to know which stream of engineering you should select while doing your M.Tech. Correct?
I feel you can do your post-graduation in mining engineering or in the environmental engineering. Both these specialisations will allow you to seek placement as a mining manager or forest manager.

Hello Madhusudan,
It is very nice of you to think of doing your M.Tech via distance education mode, but when I checked on the website of VTU, it is located at Belgaum while you are mentioning it in Bangalore. I am attaching a link for your ready reference. Am I missing something that is in your mind and I am not able to understand? There are plenty of colleges in Bangalore offering M.Tech on regular basis and few of them by correspondence also. Shiksha app will give you all the information about these colleges as well as colleges offering distance mode also.

Yes, definitely ! You need to qualify either GATE or Institute specific exams. A few institutes offer integrated M.Tech + Ph.D. option you can explore that option. JNU, BHU, IARI, IITs are a good option.

Yes, you can go for a Ph.D. in CS after completing your MBA degree. To be in the safe side, you should have a very good research paper that will ease your application for PhD degree.
