Hi,
The GATE cut off depends upon various factors like Total number of applicants, No of available seats, difficulty level of GATE paper, previous year cut off etc. For getting admission in prestigious colleges like IITs, NITs and GFTIs your GATE score should above 600 if belongs to general category.

First talk with the institute if they have provision to retake you and where you can complete your courses or not. Or else, you have 3 options left as of now. Either retake M.Tech or go for MBA or get a job and try to learn there.

Engineering degree holders with 60% marks are eligible for NET. If you are M.Tech holder, then you need 55% marks in your post-graduation to become eligible for these exams. You will be eligible for engineering sciences subject in CSIR NET.
