An eligible candidate has to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE exams. GATE exam is jointly conducted by Indian Institute of Science and IITs for technical graduates. Forms for GATE exam is available in the month of September every year and admit card can be taken in the month of December. Exam is conducted in the month of January and expected month for declaration of result is March. Skills tested in this exam are General Aptitude and Engineering Mathematics. M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Production Technology and Management)
M.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Power Electronics and Drives)

Hi Suravi Mondal,
MIM programs do not ask for work experience, MBA programme does. So I think you are eligible for MIM. If you have a very good academic profile, you should apply to top schools like INSEAD, HEC Paris, ESADE, etc.

Hello Pavitra, There are many students who strive to do this. But to imagine what CTC would be six years into future is sheer dreaming. What I can say is that placements ex IIT would be quite good even at that point in time.
