Well other then IITs and NITs, there are many private universities like VIT, SRM, BITS, Galgotias, NIRMA University, UPES-Dehradun, Amity, Sharda, LPU which are having high placement records and the decorum here will make your personality.

Hi Wani,
How are you?
Well, Graduate Aptitude Test of Engineering is somehow necessary for core branches like mechanical, civil, electrical for PSUs or to pursue M.Tech from a good college.
You can give 2 attempts of it after doing your Bachelor's degree. Then, on the basis of SSC HSC UG grades and GATE score, you will get a rank. If you get a good rank under 500, you will get a call from PSUs or else you can go for M.Tech.

Those who possess BE/B.Tech/M.Sc degree in relevant engineering stream can pursue their M.Tech (Robotics Engineering).
B.E or B.Tech degree is the minimum educational qualification required to join colleges to pursue this M.Tech course.

Check out some private universities that offer M.Tech. Go for them as they will help you. For example, you can try for Vasavi, CBIT, SRM university which has a better scope. I hope I have cleared your doubts, good luck!

An undergraduate degree in engineering or technology makes one eligible for M.Tech nanotech. But when you are doing M.Sc in biotech, you should find opportunity in your this field, it will take another two year to pursue a M.Tech nanotech.
