1. B.Tech is way better than M.Tech dual degree, if of course you have the innate passion to scale up to pursue a PhD later on.
2. If getting placed after dual degree is your main concern then you may be in trouble, since the chances and packages offered to dual is not at par with the standards you have in mind. It's almost the same as of B.Tech.
3. This is in case of IT jobs, whereas in the core sector, dual degree will definitely give you the extra edge over B.Tech candidates. So decide this in the early phase of your career.

Both are good, if you have less then 60% then go for MS, otherwise, go for M.Tech. You must qualify GATE, otherwise, both are worthless.

The best way to predict a college through JEE Mains score is using Shiksha college predictor:

It shows perfectly accurate results. After that, just go for the counseling of that college.

B.Tech percentage must be above 60. Do read my article on this issue 60% aggregate for M.Tech admission.
Must have a wonderful GATE Score or Good All India Rank, or Good percentile. Don't get confused and afraid with 99 + percentile. Percentage is different from percentile to read more about it refer to How to calculate GATE percentile.
Also refer to Top Marks in GATE 2010 to get an idea how many marks you need to go to IITs 800+ score may be reasonably take you to IITs.
Be prepared to take another test at IIT for admission. Learn the basics of each subject, especially core subjects related to your engineering stream, as there may be a wr

Hi,
First check on Harvard website if they have this program. They actually don't. The biotechnology program is offered by Harvard Extension School which is more or less like online or distance learning but you are required to complete a few courses in the Harvard campus. Do some proper research , write to them and always check university websites for program specific queries as some programs may not be actually offered by them.
