You just need visa and residence permit. As an international student, you may need an entry visa for Germany depending on where you come from and how long you plan to stay here.
Proof of financial resources, university entrance qualification, German skills, health insurance and aptitude test.

It is not possible to do Engineering and Medical course through Correspondence mode. Doing so is the violation of the rules laid by AICTE and MCI. And if any university offers this course with correspondence mode, UGC can cancel, it's registry and student will not get the recognised certificate.
