India has very well developed Chemical Industry including Petroleum & gas both in Government and private sector. It is core sector with lot of Government and big corporate houses support. The placements of NIT-Rourkela for M.Tech biomedical are quite decent. Many analytics and coaching institutes recruit from our college. Talking about the department, it has ample laboratories to enhance your knowledge but only a handful of core companies visit for campus selection. On the contrary, NIT-Rourkela is extending its placement premises to Bhubaneshwar in order to have an airport connectivity with Big Core Firms related to biomedical engineering.

It's ultimately your passion that should decide. If you want to become generalist, go for MBA, but if you have passion for Technology then go for M.Tech. But normally MBA gets better packages.
