It's actually a perception that it's best to do M.Tech in infrastructure rather than pure civil. But, my sincere advise is to don't get swayed by this. You must select that subject in which you have interest and feel comfortable with.

Both are unique and great in their own ways; what matters more is your interests and career goals. If technical field suits you more, then opt for M Tech. Else, choose MBA if you want to make a career in the management sector. Talk to those who have pursued these degrees for more better insights.
