If you want a career in medicine Only, then you can go for BDS B.A. MS BUMS BHMS or some other related course. If you want to opt for some other career like teaching or defense, you can go for B.Sc. In some subjects and then apply for CDS AFCAT etc. Or do B.Ed for teaching.

Also as if there is no competitor at that time for you obviously you will get that. As cutoff depends of number of students as well.
