Nagpur has almost 32 nursing colleges. Out of which, 21 are Private, 5 are Public and the rest 2 are Public Private which provides full-time nursing courses in Nagpur. Nursing is an important link in the process of connecting patients to doctors. doctors do not do all the duties; nurses are responsible for pre-and post-operation operations. Nursing graduates are also an asset to the medical profession in the form of assisting physicians in a number of procedures and procedures. Yes, colleges do provide admissions to students on merit basis and also on basis of other entrance exams like the ones mentioned below:

• MHT CET: Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test, is a state-level annual entrance exam  for admission to Engineering and Enter programs that is administered by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE).
• GPAT: Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test is a computer-based national-level entrance examination conducted by NTA i.e. National Testing Agency for admission to Bachelors and Masters pharma courses.
