The details for selection process are as follows :
Admissions would be conducted on the basis of common entrance test scores of CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ MHCET/ CMAT/ GMAT/ ATMA. GD-PI will be conducted by the Institute. Suitable weightage will be given to past academic record and work experience.
The candidates shall be shortlisted on the basis of the overall rank computed taking into account of the following components and their weights:
The score in the Common Admission test - 35 to 60%
Score for academic performance in X Std., XII

I am sure that with more than 97 percentile in JEE Mains, you can get any branch in Army Institute of Technology, Pune, but remember admissions in this Institute are strictly limited to the wards of children of Army personnel who have served in Army for a minimum period of 10 years.
