The NMIMS (Deemed to be University) has introduced the M.Sc programme in biological sciences from August 2012. The salient feature of this programme is the emphasis being laid on the overall development of laboratory skills of a student coupled with an expansion of his/her knowledge base through an interdisciplinary course work comprising lectures and practicals in the first year of the course and subsequently fine tuning these skills in a particular area of specialization. Dear Deepak, Both the colleges have their own specialisation in their own way. What matter is your comfortable level and in which environment you adapt yourself easily. Please visit the college personally and choose which college provides opportunities that suits you. Regards.

As with your score, you can get basically any good college. There might be some exceptions of higher cut-off in a couple colleges. But the chances are relatively less.

You should mention the branch you want. Because the placement of UPES in petroleum engineering is very nice. Also for CSE, UPES placements are good. I don't have much idea about MIT WPU, Pune placements so I cannot comment on this. But trust me, in the end, it depends on you that how will you learn in these 4 years and implement what you have learnt.

Hi Mohit!
congratulation on scoring 61 Percentile. Thought this score is not sufficient to get into any of the B-Schools, moreover the admission process of maximum college is done. I would suggest you to wait for an year and reappear for your exams and in the meanwhile get some work experience along the year. All the Best Mate!
