The prominent in the state of Maharashtra is the Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) offering a distance education course in B.Ed. It has the average duration of 2 years, but it is up to 5 years to finish it. Depending on the university and the category fees of the whole programme vary between INR 30,000-90,000. One has to have a Bachelors degree or Masters degree with at least 50 percent marks.

With your D.Pharm you can now get B.Pharm lateral entry (second year entry) in Nashik. SMBT Group of Institutions, K.K. Wagh College of pharmacy, MET league of colleges, Sandip University are some of the well-ranked colleges in this. Such colleges are PCI and AICTE approved and have good faculty and infrastructure. Admission normally needs a D.Pharm degree with a passing of a minimum of 50 percent marks (45 percent marks in case of reserved categories) and can be through entrance examination such as MHT-CET or merit-based.
