Homi Bhabha National Institute is excellent in terms of placement and it is at par with other colleges such as some nit's or even some iit's. It is a great university in terms of placement, as it has a very good return on interest than any college. The placement statistics of Hbni are as follows:-

1. In the year, a total 219 out of 339 students were placed on the campus itself. 
2. The median package offered to PG (1-year) students is 11.40 LPA and to PG (2-year) was 11.70 LPA in the year 2022.
3. Also, there was 100 percent placement rate in 2021 and 90 percent in 2022.
4. The median package offered to PG (3-year) was 34 lpa.
5. There are very reputated  companies which take part in the placement process like BARC, Bhabha atomic research centre etc.

Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai is one of the prestigious institute is a government institute established by the Department of Atomic Energy and approved by UGC. One can get admission in the institute through various entrance exams which depend on the courses such as:-

1. Neet (ug) for undergraduate courses in the medical field and Neet (pg) for postgraduate courses in the medical field which includes Doctorate of Medicine (M.D.), radiation medicine etc.
2. For engineering courses one has to give Jee Mains for undergraduate courses and Gate examination for postgraduate courses such as M.Tech and B.Tech in various domains like electrical, mechanical, computer engineering, etc.
3. Also, there is another university examination known as Nest which is specific for the university that provides admission to MSc and BSc programmes.

Homi Bhaba National Institute which is present in Mumbai, provides M.Tech in various domains such as electrical, mechanical and chemical engineering. Moreover, it depends on the difficulty level and the number of students giving that paper. Also, 86 percentile in Gate is a decent score but there are very less seats available for M.Tech at Homi Bhabha National Institute so it's very difficult to get admission to this university. As the previous year's cutoff went up to 93 percentile, but it also depends on the branch that you are choosing for M.Tech. In my opinion, your score is good but you should take a drop of one year and prepare for the examination and you will easily get admission in it.

Homi Bhaba National Institute provides courses in every domain such as medical, engineering and arts. One may take admission in the university by giving NEET for medical courses, JEE or GATE for engineering, courses and other entrance exams like Mht-Cet which is acceptable all over Maharashtra. Moreover, it depends on the course that one has to pursue, but in general it has a very low fee structure with great roi. The fee in INR for different courses are as follows:-

1. Doctorate of Medicine (M.D.):- 30,000/ year.
2. Ph.D :- 10,000/year
3. M.Tech in domains such as chemical, mechanical and electrical engineering:-24,000/year
4. DM :- 30,000/year
5. Diploma in domains such as Radiation medicine,   Radiological physics etc. :- 28,000/year
