The admission process for majority of the courses at MDSU are merit-based. However, candidates wishing to apply to B.Ed or MEd are required to go through an entrance-based admission process. Candidates are judged over their performance in entrance exams such as PTET. 
Candidates who meet the entrance cutoff are invited for further admission rounds.

Yes, MDSU does provide a refund in case of withdrawal of admission. The university follows the fee refund policy framed by UGC. The below table showcases guidelines to be followed as per the fee refund policy of the university:
