No, there's no age limit to pursue MA in Advertising & Public Relations course in India. However, you'll need to fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the institutions. Though it can vary depending on individual colleges' requirements, the basic condition is to have a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised university.

The basic difference between both is that Mass Communication is a field in which Advertising and Public Relations is a sub-discipline. With Masters in mass communication, you'll have the liberty or freedom to choose any subject such as Film Making, Photography, Cinematography, Advertisement, Public Relations, Animation, etc.

Whereas with Masters in Advertising and Public Relation you'll have to study specifically in the domain of Advertising and PR. This is also applicable in the career opportunities. However, the employment options today are not limited to a specific field, you'll still get to explore various industries.

Today, MAAC, Raipur and Anibrain School of Media Design, Pune are two places that provide courses in animation, VFX and media graphic designing. Still, what is important for placements Anibrain usually performs slightly better because of more connections within the industry and better stat using a longer experience in the VFX and the animation field. It is generally better with Anibrain having freshers drawing anywhere between Rs 4 LPA to Rs 8 LPA and few getting placed with leading studios like Pixar, Dream Works, Red Chillies VFX etc.
