Yes, online degrees delivered by Massey Uni carry the same value as offline ones. As to which one is better depends on the lifestyle, budget, and career goals.

- working full-time or short on time
- have a tight budget
- do not qualify/want a New Zealand student visa or post-study work rights

There are not enough valid reasons to choose UCIC over Massey University.
As the UCIC is foundation studies and pathways oriented college while the Massey University have a variety of programs with more specialization.
The chances of getting a reasearch opportunity at UCIC are unlikely to happen, while the Massey University offers really good Research opportunities.
