The selection criteria of PG course at Xavier School of Commerce is entrance-based. The college accepts XAT/CAT/NMAT/GMAT/XGMT for admission in MMS. After the students are shortlisted on the basis of entrance test, they are required to participate in writing test ability, group discussion and personal interview for final selection.

The biggest shock for me after starting at GIBS was the immense amount of practical learning and real business exposure that we received. The college actively engages us with guests speakers (who are often corporate leaders), and they take us on site visits to local businesses, have us do live projects, and provide access to personal mentors. The amazing support system (staff) and personal attention provided by the faculty, as well as their focus on developing skills, leadership ability, and personal growth all stand out as very different from what I expected from typical business schools. No, candidates without a PG level degree in the relevant field are ineligible to apply for the NIT Jalandhar PhD admissions. Candidates will need to have cleared a specific PG level course in accordance with their chosen PhD course at NIT Jalandhar.
