No, you cannot simultaneously pursue B.Ed and PG in the same session (2024-26). B.Ed is a 2-year undergraduate degree course, and PG is a postgraduate degree course requiring a bachelor's degree as a prerequisite. Generally, two degree courses cannot be undertaken in parallel in universities and colleges. You will have to complete your B.Ed course first, which would take 2 years (2024-26), and then apply for a PG course that would start in 2026 and take another 2 years to complete. 4 years in total. The fee structure for the B.Ed course varies between INR 20,000-Rs 1 Lacs per year, and for PG, it could cost between INR 50,000-Rs 2 lakh. 

The PG programme selection at Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) includes the five leading programs of MD, MS, MCh, DM and PG Diploma programs. AFMC provides the MD programme across specialties General Medicine, Pathology, and Anesthesiology giving 20-25 seats for each area. The MS programme at AFMC provides two specializations namely General Surgery and Orthopedics which have 10-15 available seats each. There are two to three seats allocated for each Super Specialty MCh course. The DM programs at present have a low participant capacity which reaches 2 to 3 individuals in Cardiology and Nephrology domains. Most PG Diploma programs admit 5-10 students through their examinations at Child Health and Anesthesia. To gain admission at AFMC Medical College students need to pass the NEET-PG exam and participate in AFMC interview rounds where competition remains intense.

Bangalore University conducts a number of postgraduate (PG) programs, such as M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., M.E., M.Arch., MBA, and M.Com. with specialization. To avail these programs, candidates need a bachelor's degree with a 50% marks aggregate. Few courses need the candidates to be 50% in the specific subject. Admission is mostly merit-based, with some courses making entrance tests neccessary, such as PGCET, GATE, or UGC NET/CSIR NET, preceded by counseling conducted by the Post Graduate Admission Committee (PGAC). In undergraduate medical courses, the Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) offers a reservation for the offspring of Insured Persons (IPs) as of February 2025 A certain number of seats are allotted for MBBS, BDS and B.Sc. Nursing programs. However there isn't a reservation reserved for the children of ESIC employees or insured individuals for postgraduate (MS/MD) seats. The All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE) is used to admit students to these postgraduate programs, and seats are assigned purely on the basis of merit while abiding by the normal reservation rules that apply to all applicants. Children of ESIC personnel must thus compete for postgraduate medical admissions using the regular requirements without any special consideration.
