For admission to UG/PG courses in KJ's Educational Institute under the management quota, the candidates have to offer the following qualifying examination, The candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks in PCM for general category, with 45% marks for the reserved category. Also, the candidates must have taken the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) or Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main. Candidates interested in taking up PG courses must hold a Bachelor degree in the specific area of the subject with not less than fifty percent marks. The institute also admits candidates, who have qualified the Diploma in Engineering and Technology examination with the 50% marks. 

For the admission in KJ College of Engineering & Management Research pursuing UG/PG courses, the candidate have to fulfill some minimum standard. The eligibility norms for UG courses are 10+2 pass in PCM with 50% pass average and MH- CET/JEE- Main qualification for entrance. Candidates applying for PG courses should have passed the Bachelor's degree examination in the relevant subject with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. For lateral admission the college also provide a minimum of 50% marks in the Diploma in Engineering. UG applicants must be 16 years of age while PG applicants should be at least 21 years of age.
