Oriental Institute of Management (OIM) for UG/PG courses will have to fulfill all the eligibility conditions as specified:
Complete 10+2 from any board with at least 50% marks in aggregate for obtaining eligibility to apply.
Admission will be based on merit or entrance examinations, depending upon the course of study.
A candidate must have at least a bachelor's degree and should have 50% marks in aggregate.
The candidate must have a valid score in entrance examinations such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, or any other equivalent.

The Institute of Technology and Management, Somany (PG) has merit-based scholarships for students that start from INR 10,000 up to INR 40,000 per annum for first-year students depending on their performances in entrance exams. Somany PG Institute of Technology and Management has mixed performance placements. The highest amount of packages received was around INR 12 LPA. The average package issued was INR 5 LPA. The minimum package is INR 2.50 LPA. All the major companies, such as HDFC Bank, SBI Life, Flipkart, etc., come to the campus for recruitment. While some outcomes have been positive, it feels like concern is emerging about the placement cell overall and the kind of diversity in the companies visiting campus that might impact job opportunities.
