Dear Poonam, Both CU and LPU are good but if I talk about the placements of M.Sc. In Mathematics, then LPU is good for placements. As far as I know, the highest package offered for the programme is INR 9.55 LPA. The companies visited for recruitment are as follows:

Adamas University is an average University. If you wanna excel in B.Sc mathematics. try to choose a college which has a great faculty. If you wanna study in Kolkata itself you can take a look at the following colleges.
- St. Xavier's College
- Presidency University
- Maulana Azad College
- Scottish Church College
- Amity University
Yes you can go ahead with B sc courses. But I would like one to go up with courses of applied sciences in science as it has a wider range of scope. Its curriculum is not limited only to academics but applications as well, which is more needed to one.

You can check the elligibility detail in IGNOU website. Yes, for IGNOU MCA you need Maths in 10+2 / graduation/ or pass BCS- 012. So you can apply IGNOU by filling any one of the elligibility criteria. Best wishes.
