Yes, you can attend exams like above you mentioned but it is compulsory to get 75% in your 12th board and 65% if ST/SC candidate.

Sorry to say but your son haven't cleared JEE Mains required cutoff. So there is no way to get admission in any college through JEE Mains. You may get admission in any private college through 12th percentage.

You can pursue diploma courses basis your interests and what you want to do after your B.Sc. You can check courses in IT or management or accounting/taxation and any other field depending on what your plans are.

In case you are planning to do software engineering (B.Tech CSE/ IT/ Software Engineering) then in addition to maths you are advised to take physics and chemistry also. If you want to do BCA then maths is the only mandatory subject.

You can choose aerospace and aeronautical engineering if you have more interest in mathematics. In these branches there are lots of mathematical equations which are used in aerospace engineering.
