As per the eligibility criteria of M.A. Economics of DU's candidate should have any graduate/ PG degree in any subject from UOD or any Indian University recognised by the UOD with minimum 60% or fisrt division. Or B.A (Hons) in Economics from UOD with minimum 60% or first division. 

So Mathematics is not necessary here in graduation for admission in M.A Economics of DU's.

To prepare for the SAEEE Mathematics section, the candidates will have to study the following units - Sets, Relations and Functions, Complex Numbers and Quadratic Equations, Matrices and Determinants, Permutations and Combinations, Mathematical Induction, Binomial Theorem and it's Simple Applications, Sequences and Series, Limit, Continuity and Differentiability, Integral Calculus, Differential Equations, Coordinate Geometry, Three Dimensional Geometry, Vector Algebra, Statistics and Probablity, Trigonometry and Mathematical Reasoning.

To apply to MSc Financial Mathematics program at Leeds Uni the applicants are required to meet the following admission requirements:

• A UG degree in a related subject like Finance, Economics, Physics, Mathematics, Computing or Engineering
