IIT Roorkee accepts IIT JAM scores for admission to the MSc course. Analysing the IIT JAM cutoff, MSc in Economics was turned out to be the most competitive specialisations when compared it with the other four specialisations. For Mathematics, the Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks were 247 and 272, respectively for the Economically Weaker Section category candidates for the All India Quota. So, considering the 2023 cutoff ranks, yes a candidate can get into IIT Roorkee with 200 rank in IIT JAM for MSc in Mathematics.

To be eligible for the MCA program, students must have a bachelor's degree in computer applications, computer science, or a related field. They must also have earned at least 50% of their undergraduate marks. Mathematics is a required subject for Class 12, so all students must have taken it, as they are the major criteria for the selection process. MCA is two year course for full time and the total tuition fee for MCA is INR 1.9 Lakh.

No. NATA 2023 will be conducted as a single section examination. Previously, the authorities used to include separate sections of Mathematics and Drawing in the NATA 2023 syllabus. However, currently the paper only consists of one section that is to test the aptitude of the candidates. However, the general knowledge of the candidates related to mathematics and drawing may be assessed in the aptitude section. Candidates are advised to be prepared well as per the syllabus of NATA 2023.

Candidates who have completed their 10 + 2 examination with Physics, Chemistry
and Mathematics or 10+ 3 Diploma with Mathematics as subject of study can
appear for NATA 2023. Candidates appearing for 10+2 examination with Physics,
Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects of study or 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics
in the current year may also provisionally appear for NATA-2023.
Candidates may note that NATA 2023 is the qualifier for admission to B.Arch.
program offered by Universities/ Institutions in the country, subject to the fulfillment
of eligibility criteria as prescribed by the Council.
