Dear Aashish, I have completed BBA from LPU and I would like to state that it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I have learnt a lot throughout this journey and whatever I have achieved in my academic as well as professional life, I owe it all to LPU. On that note, I would like to tell you about all the features that contributed to quality education and above all, an impeccable college life. In most of universities, maths is compulsory subject in first year. It is on basic maths and students will able to handle it easily. I have completed BBA in the year 2014, that time I studied maths subjects, Now Maths is compulsory or not you can check from the curriculum. This course will give you an exposure in management field. After completing BBA you can go for MBA. MBA will provide highly challenging job for you. Different specializations are there in MBA. If you are looking for a career in marketing, then MBA in Marketing is a good option, Because now a days mostly companies recruited students for marketing jobs. They have Industrial Tie-ups with various reputed companies that give students the opportunity for pursuing live projects/ professional certifications. Entrepreneurship projects are an essential piece of the educational programs and help students build up themselves as fruitful business individuals. They have Collaboration/Tie up with the companies like NSE, Safe Educate, ICICI Direct, IDFC, etc. To give students the opportunity for pursuing live projects and/or professional certifications like NCCMP, NCFM etc. The course offers specialisation offerings in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, Information Technology, International Business, Financial Markets, Operations, Retail Management, Entrepreneurship, Rural Management, Airport and Airlines Management. Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills. Around 550+ companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. Companies likes Colgate Palmolive, Hindustan Unilever, Godrej Consumer.

An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination. The applicant must have studied and passed Mathematics/Business Mathematics at the qualifying examination for admission to B.Com. (Hons. ). Selection shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination including one language and three best subjects as per the following:
An aggregate of 45% or more in English/Hindi and combination of best three among the following subjects: Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics and Business Studies/ Commerce. Inclusion of any subject from List B other than mentioned above in the combination of best three will lead to a deduction of 1% per subject on the aggregate. Inclusion of any subject other than those in Lists A and B in the combination of best three will lead to a deduction of 2.5% per subject on the aggregate of the Best Four.
