Candidates who have passed in Bachelors degrees in chemistry or the relevant field from any university which is recognised by the UGC with a minimum of 50% or equivalent are eligible to apply for M.Sc. Chemistry. B.Sc. (3 years) Degree after 10+2 with Major/Honours in Chemistry.

For Air Force & Naval of NDA and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with physics and mathematics subjects. Age below 20.
