CTET Exam Events 2026

CTET is a national level exam which is conducted by the CBSE for the candidates who want to become a teacher in central government schools across the country. Check important CBSE CTET exam events below:

  • CTET application form: The application starts once the notification is released. Candidates who fulfil the CTET eligibility criteria can submit the online form. The complete process is conducted online. 
  • CTET admit card: The CTET hall ticket is released on the official website of the exam. It is issued around two weeks before the exam. Candidates need to download the card and carry it to the exam centre on the day of the examination
  • CTET exam: The CBSE CTET exam is conducted offline for Paper 1 and Paper 2.
  • CTET answer key: The official provisional CTET answer key is released a few weeks after the exam's conduct. Candidates can challenge the provisional key on the official website of the exam. The final answer key is released along with the result.
  • CTET result: CTET result is announced by CBSE within six weeks of the conduct of the exam. According to the NCTE notification, candidates require 60% or more to pass the CTET examination. The minimum marks required by a candidate being a General category to qualify the CTET exam is 90 out of 150 and for SC, ST, OBC and PwD is 82 out of 150.
