The M.Sc. Statistics syllabus of CUCET consists of two parts as under.
1. Part A : Language, general awareness, mathematical aptitude and analytical skills comprising of 25 MCQs
2. Part B: Domain Knowledge comprising of 75 MCQs. This part may consist of three/four/five sections. Each section will have 25 questions. A candidate is required to answer a set of any three sections (75 questions). For Syllabus and Model question papers please use CUCET link as under.

Yes, it is quiet tough for entrance exam because the exam will cover 11 and 12 math syllabus. One of the best books to prepare for IPMAT is 'Crack the IIM Indore IPM Entrance Exam', published by Pearson and written by IIM Lucknow Alumnus Nishit Sinha. Good luck!

No, maths is not at all compulsory.Commerce is much better than maths because in future we all have to grow up with commerce even in our everyday life.In commerce we will learn real life applicable subject in maths we have all years old subject which we can't at any part of life it's not that worth what societies tell us.

Yes, you can do it. Start preparing for state wide and national wide entrance exams of Ph.D. Like UG NET, Symbiosis exam, JNU exam, etc. If you get good score they will provide you seat in good universities or IIT or NIT for doing Ph.D.
