Hello Karthick, It depends on the course that you wish to join. For the courses that involve a major of mathematics, then such courses demand a high score. For the courses which don't, the maths marks required would not be that high.

It's not possible for you to take admission in any of the top institutes as most of them have minimum eligibility as 60% in 12th. So, you have to go with low-tier B.Arch colleges.

Hey,
Maths is a mandatory subject to pursue a career in Biotechnology. It is necessary to have knowledge of grad. level mathematics if you're going to pursue a degree in biotech. If you're in 12th standard and if it's possible that you can still add a subject in your current curriculum then go for it.
Mathematics is compulsory for admission in government colleges, only private colleges don't have maths as a compulsory subject. Since you'll be opting for a biotech course (most probably a B.Tech in biotech) then you will require the knowledge of mathematics (graduation level).
