Nowadays, 60% for honors is mandatory, so I recommend you to give improvement of 12th and score high percentage so that you can get a seat in some good college and with your own subject selection or go for entrance test so that the percentage doesn't matter.

Everyone has his/her different field of interest/opinion. You have to decide this yourself. No field is bad if you work with good skills and knowledge. But, according to me, an interdisciplinary field like engineering or science will be better for you in terms of scope and demand.
