Hi, candidates from Vadodara District must have secured at least 40% marks for general category (50% marks for other districts of Gujarat), SEBC 35% marks (45% marks for other districts of Gujarat) and mere pass for SC/ST candidates. The average percentage will be calculated on the basis of four-semester theory marks of three Science subjects and for annual system pattern 10+2 marks will be considered as an average percentage. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination after appearing in the supplementary examination conducted by the GHSEB shall also be eligible. In case of candidates with 2 or more attempts 2% marks per attempt will be deducted from the average percentage.

How to Apply
BA and B.Sc:
Application for PUBDET 2019 has to be done online only. There is no printed application form. Candidates seeking admission must apply for by filling in and submitting the completed online application before the last date. Candidates can obtain the concerned application form by downloading from the official WBJEE website. Candidate should log on to the university website and follow the below given steps:
Register with necessary details and remember the self-created login ID and password for future log-in.
Fill the application form with the required details.
Upload the scanned copy of the following documents:
Recent passport-sized coloured photograph of the candidate, Full signature of the candidate, Age proof (Admit Card of 10th standard examination) or birth certificate, Mark sheet/grade card of BA/B.Sc (for PUBDET).
Pay the application fee either online (by net banking, debit/credit cards) or offline (by E-Challan) payment modes.
Upon successful completion of the application, the system will generate a confirmation page containing all the details entered by the candidate. Candidate must keep the Xerox copy of the completed applications for subsequent use
Note: Application fee for PUBDET is INR 500 plus the Banks Service Charges as applicable. The candidate should bring following important documents in original and their photocopies positively for verification during counselling:

The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 qualifying examination and score of the entrance test viz. PUBDET 2019 followed by the counselling.

The eligibility criteria for Jadavpur University for B.Sc math is candidates need to have passed 10+2 examination from any recognized board in science with mathematics and best of any two subjects from Chemistry, Statistics, Physics, Geography, Computer Science and with a minimum average of 75% marks in average in the aforementioned three subjects. For OBC-A/OBC-B category, minimum requirement of average marks to be scored in the aforementioned three subjects is 67.5%. For SC/ST/PD/Sports category, the minimum requirement of average marks to be obtained in the aforementioned three subjects is 56.25%. The minimum disability in case of the PD candidates is 40%.
