For which college you are asking? Firstly, you have to clear your math exam then only you can take admission in college and for PCM means, your college only consider physics, chemistry, maths, marks for admission so according to me you can't get admission without clearing your maths exam.

You can't do B.A economics from DU because you don't have maths in your class 12th. Including maths in your best four is not important but passing in that subject is important. However, you can do B.A in economics from Loyola College without maths, but it doesn't provide a honors degree.

Hi
I am currently pursuing B.Com (Hons.) from Gargi College but I have a few friends who are doing BA Honors in economics. So, the course has a lot of maths, like they say they can't think of economics without maths. So, my advice would be if you like maths, then only go for this course. The top 5 college for BA Honors in economics are:
1. Lady Shri Ram College for Women
2. Loyola College
3. St. Xavier's college
4. Christ University
5. Miranda House

Hi Paramita,
As you are applying for distance, then yes you can go for distance. If you had said for regular one, as your marks are low, as there should be minimum 50%. But, as you are choosing distance, then whichever university you are choosing, if it is UGC recognized and you can fill the form either visiting the university or downloading from the website of that university.

Hello Raghu Veer,
Firstly, I would like to advise you that please do not worry. Many a times students join courses at undergraduate level on peer pressure or parental pressure etc. After completion of graduation, the futility dawns. But then nothing is lost. Think it as having obtained graduation in some discipline. Based on this you can do many things including post-graduation in the subject of your choice, taking up a job in an area where you have fascinating thoughts. Just remember: "Where there is a will, there is a way".
Best wishes to you.
