A national level examination, GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is a qualifying exam for admissions to post-graduate programs (e.g., M.E. /M.Tech direct Ph.D. in Indian institutes of higher education with financial assistance provided by MHRD and other government agencies. GATE scores may also be used by public and private sector.

If you have the Pass Certificate provides by CBSE, then nothing is stopping you from pursuing Higher Education. You must have had at least 6 subjects in 12th and Math as optional. So, it could be accepted, but you won't be able to pursue any course related to Maths.

PDF cannot be uploaded here. But, you can easily find question paper on google now a days. If you still cannot find the practice set. You will have to visit a local book seller. They usually have Xeroxes of such papers.

Engineering is one of the best courses to consider. Choose the subjects under engineering based on your interest, though. Alternately, you can do B.Sc in mathematics, computer applications and IT, physics, Bachelor in Architecture, etc.
